We have another amazing volunteer opportunity for February. The Rotary Risers are scheduled to cook and serve a dinner at the Ronald McDonald House (850 2nd Street SW, Rochester, 55902) for their February Community Service activity on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. This happens to be the night of our regularly scheduled meeting so instead of having a meeting at a restaurant lets meet at the Ronald McDonald House and help with the meal. The Risers are deciding on a menu and purchasing everything but then they will have to go to the House, cook, serve, and cleanup after it. So they need volunteers to help with cooking, staying to visit with guests, and then the cleanup. The dinner is to be served at 6:00 pm. If you are able to help with the cooking please arrive no later then 4:00 pm to begin to prepare the meal. I am planning to help serve and clean up. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are able to help volunteer and what time you think you will be able to be at the Ronald McDonald House so I can let the Risers know how many people to expect. |
