Meet the Members of Rochester Rotaract!  Jana Wohlers President Jana Wohlers, is a Research Assistant at SNG Research Corporation, a market research firm that provides full-service, customized marketing and survey research to clients in the public and private sectors. She works closely with management to meet client needs, programs CATI questionnaires in Ci3 for data collection, programs for data tabulation using WinCross and SPSS and manages intercept studies and focus groups. Jana graduated from Winona State University with a B.S. in business administration. She is a STRIVE program mentor and has resided in Rochester since 2004.  Zak Konkol Vice- President  Diana Rommelfanger Secretary Diana Rommelfanger is a pre doctoral student in the
Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics at Mayo Graduate
School. She is part of a
laboratory whose primary interest is the use of viruses to target and kill
cancer cells, which is commonly referred to as oncolytic virotherapy. More
specifically, the focus of her thesis work is optimization of the in vivo therapy associated with
Vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV) treatment against a mouse model of malignant
melanoma. This work is designed to enhance the mechanistic understanding of
VSV, as well as other oncolytic viruses, leading to clinically relevant
treatment regimens. Diana graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse
with a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology. She has resided in Rochester since 2007.  Christina Sakai, CPA, is a part the internal audit department at Pentair, Inc, a diversified operating company focused on two segments: water and technical products and services the commercial, industrial, agricultural, municipal, and residential markets. Christina graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a B.S.B. in accounting and a B.A. in Asian Languages and Literature. Prior to working at Pentair, she was as a financial statement auditor at LarsonAllen, LLC and Smith Schafer and Associates, LTD. She has resided in Rochester since 2007. More member bio's to come! |
